Intervention field cases

TOTAL: Elgin Franklin 1999 – present

Cesium formate brine has provided effective well control in over 20 HPHT workover and suspension operations in the Elgin / Franklin fields in the North Sea.

BP: Rhum 2004 – 2005

Deploying 2.19 s.g. / 18.28 ppg cesium formate brine in HPHT perforating operations brings significant HSE benefits and delivers productive wells with low mechanical skins.

TXM: Mako-6 2006 – 2008

TXM successfully used high-density cesium formate brine as well control fluid during the appraisal of a extreme HPHT basin-centred gas accumulation in Hungary. The well was later suspended three times with cesium formate. The longest suspension period lasted about six months.
