We will operate our facilities in a manner consistent with those laws and regulations, and urgently respond to any emergency situation that may originate from our operations. We are committed to continuously improving our HSE performance and will not be satisfied until we reach our goal of zero injuries and zero environmental non-conformances.

• We will seek partnerships with contractors and suppliers who believe, as we do, that all accidents and injuries are preventable and that promoting safe work behaviour and ensuring environmental compliance is critical to achieving HSE excellence.
  
  
• We are committed to energy efficiency, minimising waste from operations, and preventing pollution.
  
  
• We will seek partnerships with suppliers and customers to understand, assess and monitor the life-cycle effects of our products.
  
  
• We will provide our distributors, transporters and customers with complete and accurate information regarding the safe use, handling and transportation of our products.
  
  
• We will periodically review and report on our HSE performance externally while constantly challenging ourselves to do better.
  
  
• We will communicate and engage with employees, regulators, the communities in which we operate, neighbours, customers and investors on our HSE performance.
  
  
• We will put into place sufficient and appropriate global standards and resources to ensure that we can achieve these goals.

Furthermore, we will not consider Cabot Specialty Fluids to be a successful company unless the principles of this policy are followed and respected.
